The European Conference on Computer Vision 2024 will be organized at MICO Convention Centre, the largest conference facilities in Europe.

It can accommodate up to 21,000 participants in 70 fully equipped conference rooms with permanent control booths. 

Featuring two plenary rooms, one with seating 4,000 and the other 2,000 and an Auditorium that seats 1,500 it is the ideal venue for large-scale performances and for international conferences requiring a large number of rooms. The exhibition halls offer 54,000 m2 of exhibition space and can also be set up as extra plenary rooms accommodating more than 5,000 individuals.

The MiCo Milan Convention Centre is right in front of the new Citylife district. The urban project that re-shaped the Portello area with the iconic architectures of its skyscrapers, residential buildings and shopping mall. In close proximity of MiCo there are more than 1,600 sleeping rooms distributed in hotels from the 3 to the 5 stars.

Bars, restaurants and coffee houses complete the offer of services available within walking distance from the main entrances of the convention centre. The Citylife park, right in front of MiCo is the ideal space where to spend some spare time during the events happening at the convention centre.

 

HOW TO REACH THE VENUE

 

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

Milan is well served by Lombardy’s transport network, one of most widespread and efficient in Europe, with train, bus, metro and trolleybus networks. Milan boasts 4,700 surface public transport stops, efficiently serving the 1,3 million residents of the city, with 800,000 journeys a day as standard and an additional 250,000 journeys a day during international fairs and other major events.

Milan has 5 metro lines with 130 stations, and more than 130 bus and tram routes. Compared with major European capitals, Milan has competitive public-transport rates (€ 2.20 per 90 min ride). Tickets can be easily bought directly on board by credit card.

  • Lilac line – stop Portello (80 mt). Allianz MiCo - Milano Convention Centre is right in front of the “Portello” underground station of the lilac line M5. Just a few steps from the Citylife district.

FROM LINATE AIRPORT


Milano Linate Airport is at 10 Km approx. distance; 20 min by taxi.

Take the Blue line M4 (direction San Babila) for 7 stops, get off at San Babila. Take the Red line M1 (direction Rho Fiera Milano) to Lotto, change line taking Lilac line M5 (direction Bignami) for 1 stop, get off at Portello. From Viale Scarampo continue on Viale Eginardo. After a few meters you will find the GATE 2 entrance of the Allianz - MiCo Milano Convention Centre.

FROM MALPENSA AIRPORT

Milano Malpensa airport is at 40 Km. approx. distance; 40 min by taxi.
MALPENSA EXPRESS train service directly connects the airport to the city center in 40 minutes, arriving at Cadorna train station.

Take the first departing train and get off at Domodossola. From Domodossola station:

  1. Take the M5 lilac line (direction San Siro Stadium) for two stops and get off at . From Viale Scarampo continue on Viale Eginardo. After a few meters you will find the GATE 2 entrance of the Allianz - MiCo Milano Convention Centre.
  2. otherwise get off at “Domodossola FNM” stop and walk about 600 m to Piazzale Carlo Magno (Gate 16).

FROM MILAN BERGAMO AIRPORT


AUTOSTRADALE or AIR PULLMAN bus service directly connects the airport to the city in 60 minutes with arrival at Central Station: take the green line M2 subway (direction Abbiategrasso/Assago Forum) and get off at Garibaldi.

Take the M5 lilac line (direction San Siro Stadio) and get off at Portello. From Viale Scarampo continue

on Viale Eginardo. After a few meters you you will find the GATE 2 entrance of the Allianz - MiCo Milano Convention Centre.

RAILWAY STATION – Stazione Centrale

 

It is the second largest and second busiest station in Italy, located 3 km away from the Duomo and is connected by 2 metro lines (M3 yellow and M2 green).
